Cali Cup – Box

After a multi-year absence, the Cali Cup is returning to SoCal for 2019. It is one of the most convenient and fun, yet challenging tournaments on the entire winter schedule. As a past champion, we are very excited to have this tournament back, and we are excited to be able to bring our teams to this event again. The Cali Cup attracts top teams from LA and OC.

Date: November 2 & 3

Locations: 

  • The Rinks – Irvine, 3150 Barranca Pkwy, Irvine, CA
  • The Rinks – Huntington Beach, 5555 W McFadden Ave, Huntington Beach, CA

Cost is $225, which includes 1 to 2 practices (rink space dependent)

War On The Shore – Field

This is our second year at War on the Shore and we are the returning champions. War on the Shore is a great tournament because it is close to home and offers us a good level of competition against Orange County and LA school teams.

Oceanside Hustle – Field

The Hustle has been a fixture on our schedule for the last few years. The competition is very strong at this event and the Oceanside setting allows us to have a fun weekend away while still getting in some serious lacrosse. 

Date: December 7 & 8

Vegas Invitational – Box

For four years Dragons had a Vegas tournament on the schedule in December and we loved making the trek out to the city that never sleeps. After two years away, we are once again going back to Vegas to participate in the Vegas Invitational box tournament. This tournament attracts teams from all over the Western US.

Date: December 20 – 22

Locations:

  • Longevity Sports Center, 5975 S Topaz St, Las Vegas, NV 89120 (turf)
  • Las Vegas Roller Hockey Center, 800 Karen Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89109 (sport court)

Teams:

  • Dragons 5/6
  • Dragons 7/8
  • Games start Friday 1pm and end by Sunday 6pm

Cost is $365, which includes 1 to 2 practices (rink space dependent)

Air Station Shootout – Field

The Air Station Shootout is the last hurrah on the youth winter tournament schedule. It takes place at the end of January and falls in the middle of the winter recreational season. The level of competition is usually high and the Irvine location makes it very convenient for us.
