2020 Dragons Boys Winter Season

The Dragons Winter Season is for players of all skill levels and will feature games against other LA clubs in the West LA League.

LEAGUE: West LA League

WINTER TEAMS:

  • Boys K-1 (if there is sufficient interest)
  • Boys 2nd & 3rd Grade
  • Boys 4th & 5th Grade
  • Boys 6th, 7th, & 8th Grade (Middle School)

GAME SCHEDULE: Games will take place every Saturday starting the week of January 6th and ending the week of February 22nd & 23rd. A game schedule will become available just before Christmas:

  • Saturday 1/4 (We are not participating this weekend)
  • Saturday 1/11
  • Saturday 1/18 (We are not participating this weekend)
  • Saturday 1/25
  • Saturday 2/1
  • Saturday 2/8
  • Saturday 2/15
  • Saturday 2/22 & Sunday 2/23 (playoffs & championships)

GAME LOCATIONS: While plans aren’t completely locked in by the league, games will be played at different fields around the west side of Los Angeles, including Mar Vista, Culver City HS, Santa Monica HS and Manhattan Village Turf.

PRACTICE SCHEDULE THROUGH FEBRUARY 2: On FEBRUARY 3rd, we will start a new permit cycle with new field times. That means practice times may change. We will also not receive the new permit times until mid to late January, so we cannot make an announcement until that time. We’re sorry about the inconvenience this causes but it is part of the process in Santa Monica.

REGISTRATION:

  • EARLY BIRD SPECIAL: $495.00 (payment must be received by 12/06)
  • Regular Pricing: $545 (Anything received after 12/06)

COACHING STAFF: All of our coaches have a deep understanding of the game of lacrosse, they are young, full of positive energy and share a love of teaching lacrosse to kids. Most of you have already met them as part of our extensive Fall program. Our curriculum is highly instructive, with a focus on making your son or daughter the best player he or she can be, and to make sure that they have a great experience. UNIFORM: We are using the same uniform as in the Spring. If you have one, you do not need to purchase a new one. IF YOU NEED TO PURCHASE A UNIFORM, PLEASE DO SO AS PART OF THE REGISTRATION PROCESS. The cost is $50. You will be asked for size information as part of the registration process.
