The Sixes Movement Is Growing – The Benefits For Our Players This Spring
Hi Everyone, Since we last spoke with you all regarding our Spring Season and the shift to a Sixes format at the K-8 level, the discussion has vastly expanded to include both of LA’s boys leagues. This bodes well for the game in general, and provides specific benefits for our players. There is now broad buy-in for running a Sixes format in addition to the traditional 10v10. Are you ready for the Olympics??? Probably not what you were expecting from an intro e-mail for Spring season, but lacrosse is undergoing changes and we are on the forefront of supporting them because they benefit your son! Lacrosse was invited to participate in the 2028 Olympics right here in Los Angeles, and the proposal put forth by the World Lacrosse Association is a format called Super Sixes.
