KAT LUETGENS

Kat has been part of our program since the very beginning of its creation and helped build the foundation of Fire back in 2015 on the inaugural Fire High School team as a 7th grader! Now, we congratulate her commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland.

Kat was raised on the lacrosse field and it shows up in her lockdown defense, relentless pressure in the 8, awareness in the clear, execution on the draw circle, and leadership as the defensive anchor. She is adored by teammates and coaches everywhere and even now as a youth coach herself inspiring the next generation of lacrosse players.

Kat will be missed tremendously by the Fire Fam and all who have gotten to play with her. She has embodied what it means to trust the process, to grow into a leader both for her peers and for younger players, and to be a consistent teammate on and off the field. We thank her for sticking by our organization for all these years and being a core member in paving the Fire Way!
