GRACE MOORE

Congratulations to our very own Queen of the Pipes, Grace Moore, on her commitment to play Division I lacrosse at San Diego State University! 

Grace’s blue collar work ethic paired with a refreshing calm and confident athlete mindset and likable demeanor are what make her a steady and trusted leader, above average teammate, and backbone of the defense.

This past summer, Grace performed out of her mind when our team needed it most. She was a difference maker in many match ups at one of our most competitive tournaments of the year it was clear that she was ready and prepared to play at the Division 1 level. This girl was going places!!! Often times our coaches were left JAW DROPPED on the sidelines with her phenomenal saves and ability to read the shooter. We joked that her stick was practically like velcro latching on to every ball that came her way. It was a proud moment to see her perform on such a big stage with confidence and talent! Every season she dedicates herself whole heartedly to her growth and continues to get stronger with every practice, game, and tournament. 

Since joining Fire as a rising freshman, Grace has been shutting down some of the top shooters in the country, and doing it with a smile! Even as a rookie back then, Grace always showed up with fearlessness, grit, poise, and a strong devotion to WEST COAST pride as she quickly latched on to our mission and slogan for changing the narrative of West Coast Lacrosse! She even took this sentiment to the Team USA locker room when she made it to the U16 National Combine this summer. Now, with her commitment to a West Coast school, we know she will continue to proudly represent her West roots in red and black!
