LEGENDS AUTUMN TILT – Recommended Hotel
Oceanside is well within “morning driving distance,” so we recommend driving from LA to Oceanside on Saturday morning and booking only Saturday night. The Residence Inn is nothing out of the ordinary, but it is clean and the location is fairly close to the 5 (fastest way to the venue) and it is close to the evening entertainment in Carlsbad. The hotel has 2-bedroom suites with 2 beds and a sofa bed to sleep up to 6 in a room for about $325 a night. You could split with another family and end up getting a pretty efficient deal.

SOCAL SUMMER SHOWDOWN – Recommended Hotel
The Pechanga has become the place to stay in Temecula for tournaments. It has a great pool, several passable restaurants, plenty of places to hang out in the evenings and good rooms. It has also been easy to plan team dinners here. It is very close to downtown Temecula, which has a lot of small restaurants and shops, and about 15 minutes from the venue. A couple notes before you make reservations:
- The drive from LA to Temecula on a Friday afternoon is VERY congested
- Unless you can drive out in the AM, you may be better off driving out early Saturday AM and then spending just Saturday night at the hotel.

SAND STORM – Recommended Hotel
As has now become customary, we will be hosting the Senior Send Off at this event. The host venue will be the Margaritaville Resort because it has really great facilities that are easy to use for this. A couple notes on this hotel:
- It is FAR from the Polo Fields. On the flip side, it is closer to LA when you drive out.
- A standard room with 2 Queen beds (sleeps 4) is currently $365 a night.
- Margaritaville sits in the heart of old Palm Springs, so if you are looking for that distinct retro vibe, this is the place!
